Featured collection
Showcase your products across the store using a slider or stacked layout.
The Featured Collection section is one of the most important sections you can add to your Shopify store. Its primary purpose is to highlight products and drive engagement by placing them front and center across key pages.
You can display products from a specific collection or manually select individual products. With extensive layout and styling options, this section can be fully customized to match your brand’s visual identity and merchandising strategy.
Configuration
The Featured Collection section provides the following settings:
Product Source
Collection Select the collection from which products will be displayed.
Products Manually select individual products instead of using a collection. Note: When products are selected here, the Collection setting above is ignored.
Limit products Set the maximum number of products displayed in the section.
General
Color scheme Choose the color scheme applied to this section.
Full width Enable this option to allow the section to span the full width of the screen. Disable it to constrain the content to the theme container width.
“View all” link text Optional text for a link leading to the collection page. Leave this field empty to hide the link entirely.
Header
Alignment Control the alignment of the section title and description.
Heading Enter the main title for the section.
Heading size Choose the heading size. Available options are H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, and H6.
Description Optional supporting text displayed below the heading.
Use collection description When enabled, the selected collection’s description will be used instead of the custom description above.
Description font size Adjust the description text size. Available options are sm, md, lg, and xl.
Carousel & Layout
Mobile columns Number of products displayed per row on mobile devices.
Desktop columns Number of products displayed per row on desktop devices.
Stack on mobile Display products in a stacked grid on mobile instead of a slider.
Stack on desktop Display products in a stacked grid on desktop instead of a slider.
Controls style Select the style for the previous/next navigation buttons. Available options: Minimal, Outline, Inverted, Accent Outline.
Show controls on mobile Toggle the visibility of navigation controls on mobile devices. When disabled, customers can swipe to navigate.
Show pagination counter Show or hide the pagination counter at the bottom of the section.
Show pagination line Toggle the progress line displayed below the pagination counter.
Product card settings
The Featured Collection section controls only the layout and behavior of the section itself. All product card–specific settings (such as image behavior, badges, pricing layout, hover effects, and quick actions) are managed globally from the Theme settings.
This approach ensures consistency, since product cards are reused across multiple areas of the store, including:
Collection pages
Featured collections
Search results
Related products sections
Any changes made to product card settings will automatically apply to all locations where product cards are displayed.
