Native support for Shopify’s built-in filtering system
Collection filters are automatically displayed on both the collection page and the search results page. As the name suggests, filters allow customers to refine product listings based on specific criteria, making it easier for them to find exactly what they are looking for.
Filters play a crucial role in delivering a smooth and efficient shopping experience, especially for stores with large product catalogs. For smaller stores with only a few products, filters may be less relevant and can be safely disabled if preferred.
Supported filter types include:
Availability (in stock / out of stock)
Product options (such as color, size, or other variants)
Price range
Any additional attributes configured in Shopify

Mobile Experience
On mobile devices, filters are hidden by default to preserve screen space. Customers can access them by tapping the Show filters button, which opens the filters inside a slide-in drawer.
This approach ensures a clean layout while keeping advanced filtering easily accessible.

Theme Behavior & Setup
In our theme, collection filters can be enabled or disabled entirely. However, the actual filter logic and configuration are managed through Shopify itself.
To create, customize, and manage filters, you must use the official Shopify Search & Discovery app. The theme simply renders the filters based on the rules defined there.
