Create a sense of urgency for time-limited promotions

The Countdown block helps create urgency in your store by displaying an animated countdown timer on the product page. This is especially effective during site-wide promotions or limited-time sales, such as BFCM (Black Friday / Cyber Monday), where encouraging quicker purchase decisions is critical.

Within the Product Main section, the countdown timer draws attention to the remaining time of an offer. This feature is also available as a standalone section, allowing you to display a countdown in other areas of your store, such as the homepage.

Configuration

In addition to the general block settings that let you adjust the styling to match your store, the most important setting for this block is the Countdown field.

• Countdown – Defines the target date and time the countdown should run toward. Use the following format: yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm

  Example: 2026-01-01 00:00

Once the date and time are set, the countdown timer will automatically calculate and display the remaining time, updating in real time to reinforce urgency and drive conversions.
