Advanced accordion
Organize and present content in a clear, compact way
The Advanced accordion section is ideal for displaying long lists of points that each require a detailed explanation. By using an accordion layout, you can keep your page clean and compact while still providing in-depth information when needed.
Customers can expand individual accordion items to learn more about each point, instead of being overwhelmed by large blocks of text. To further enhance the experience, the section’s image updates dynamically based on the currently open accordion item, visually reinforcing the content and improving engagement.
This section works especially well for:
Product features and specifications
FAQs or key benefits
Detailed service explanations
Configuration
This section does not require any special configuration.
You can freely customize it using the available settings, such as:
Changing the color scheme to match your store design
Adjusting the position of the main image (left or right on desktop)
Fine-tuning the accordion behavior, for example, by setting the first accordion item to be open by default
Each accordion item is added as a section block, as shown in the screenshot above. To add more accordion items, simply click the plus (+) icon within the section and add a new block.
Note: At the time of writing this documentation, Shopify allows a maximum of 50 blocks per section.
This setup gives you full flexibility to expand and organize your content while keeping the layout clean and easy to navigate.
