Collection circles
Help customers quickly browse and switch between collections.
The Collection Circles section displays a list of collections in a compact, visual format, making it easy for customers to explore and navigate between different collections. On mobile devices, the list becomes horizontally scrollable to preserve space and improve usability.
By default, each collection is displayed with a circular image, but you can switch to a square layout if it better matches your brand style.
This section is most commonly used on the collection page, where it helps customers move seamlessly from one collection to another. When a customer is currently viewing a collection that is included in the section, that collection item will appear in an active state, providing clear visual feedback.
Configuration
You can populate the Collection Circles section in two different ways:
Option 1: Add Collection Blocks
Add collections manually by inserting blocks into the section.
Each block represents a single collection
Select the collection you want to display for each block
The collection image used will be the one defined in the collection settings
This approach gives you full control over the order and selection of collections.
Option 2: Use a Menu
Alternatively, you can automatically populate the section using a menu.
Create a new menu in your Shopify admin (for example, “Collections”)
Assign collection links only to this menu
Select the menu from the section’s Menu setting
When using this method, the section will automatically display all collections from the selected menu, using each collection’s assigned image.
Notes
All menu items must link to collections for this feature to work correctly.
The section will automatically highlight the currently active collection when viewed on a collection page.
